Chad Cordero is returning from his brief way too soon retirement and making a comeback attempt with the Angels. Nationals fans will remember "The Chief" (as Chad was known) was the closer of the later years of the Expos and transitioned into the first few of years with the Nationals. After leaving the Nationals he was briefly with the Mariners. Chad missed some playing time due to injury and didn't really get back to his best. He "retired" on 20 June 2011, and most recently on 13 February 2013 he signed a Minor League Contract with the Angels. I wish him the best on his return and hope he can make his way back to the Majors.
